The city of Pärnu is a public legal entity, represented by the Pärnu City Council, the chairman of the council, the Pärnu City Government and the mayor or their authorized representatives. The council is the representative body of the local government unit, the government is an executive body formed by the council.
Pärnu is as small historic summer resort located by the Pärnu Bay, an inlet of the Gulf of Riga in the Baltic Sea. Population of Pärnu is ca 51 849 and area 858km2. Oletta is a former township of the department of Upper Corsica.  Its area is 2661 hectares (26.61km ) with an altitude going from 0 to 959 meters. There are 1781 inhabitants (census published in 2019) with a density of 67 people per km . Oletta belongs to the Nebbiu Conca d’Oru Federation of Municipalities.

Sportul școlar în județul Gorj are o tradiție îndelungată, inițial reprezentat de Școala Sportivă până în 1975. Începând cu anul 1998, Clubul Școlar Sportiv Tg-Jiu a devenit o entitate independentă, continuând să se dezvolte și să evolueze.
